Cyclescheme is working with us as an independent bike shop to supply the nation with quality tax free bikes and equipment for work.
We have a wealth of experience organising no-hassle tax free bikes for employees.
We’ve made the process really simple. Employees apply for their tax free bike packages using a secure voucher and the details can be easily checked and approved online by human resources.
Your employer has to be willing to run the scheme before you can get your bike. This is because the scheme can only run through what is known as a salary sacrifice, where you agree to temporarily reduce your wages to pay for the hire of goods – in this case a bike and equipment.
The scheme is available to UK tax payers who pay PAYE. Please note that the self-employed cannot take part in the scheme.

Step 1.
Your employer will need to be registered with one of the Cyclescheme companies.
Step 4.
Once approved, a certificate will be issued to either your employer or directly to you, whichever is requested.
Step 2.
Visit Worcester Cycle Centre in store, choose the bike and any required safety equipment. A get a quote for the total cost
Step 5.
The Certificate is then redeemed in store at Worcester Cycle Centre in exchange for the bike and accessories. Salary sacrifice then commences over the hire period (usually 12 months).
Step 3.
You apply for a Certificate online using the companies preferred chosen partner. Your employee will usually sign an online Hire Agreement at this time.
Step 6.
At the end of the hire period the owner of the bike may choose to offer the employee ownership of the bike for a full market value.
